Ukrainian drones attacked military airfield in Borisoglebsk, ATACMS hit Nebo-M station.

Ukrainian Defense Forces units successfully attacked the military airfield 'Borisoglebsk' in the Russian Voronezh region overnight on October 3. As a result of this operation, warehouses with guided aerial bombs (GAB), aircraft parking spaces for Su-35 and Su-34, as well as aviation fuel depots were damaged.
According to sources in the Ukrainian special services, drones of the Security Service of Ukraine, Special Operations Forces, and other units of the Defense Forces were involved in this operation.
'Russians wrote in social networks at night about the work of air defense systems, numerous drone flyovers, powerful explosions, and fires near the local airfield. Satellite monitoring identified four fire centers in the 'Borisoglebsk' area,' the sources reported.
An SBU representative explained that the main goal of this operation was to deprive the enemy of the ability to use fighter jets with guided aerial bombs to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities. 'The demilitarization of Russian military airfields will continue, as the enemy should not feel safe even on their own territory,' added the interlocutor.
In addition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a successful strike with ATACMS ballistic missiles on the Russian Nebo-M radar station. The explosion of this station, valued at over 100 million dollars, significantly impairs the capabilities of the Russian army in detecting and intercepting aerial targets.
According to military reports, the destruction of 'Nebo-M' creates favorable conditions for the use of Storm Shadow and SCALP-EG cruise missiles by Ukrainian forces.
