In Poland, a salary increase has been announced: who will receive the lion's share of the increase.

Increase of minimum salaries in the healthcare sector in Poland
Starting from July 1, 2025, Poland plans to raise the minimum salaries for employees in the healthcare sector. The changes comply with the provisions of the Law on Minimum Wage in Healthcare, according to which indexing is calculated based on the average salary in the country for the previous year.
The increase will affect ten categories of medical workers. The largest increase in pay is expected for doctors and dentists with specialization, where the minimum salary may increase from the current 10,375.45 zlotys to 11,863.49 zlotys.
“Pharmacists, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, as well as nurses and midwives with a master's degree and specialization will have a guaranteed minimum of 10,554.42 zlotys. For doctors without specialization, a threshold of 9,736.25 zlotys is set, while interns will receive from 7,772.63 zlotys.”
Other medical professionals, such as paramedics, technicians, and orderlies, are also expected to see an increase in their minimum salary. Their pay will vary from 5,318.2 to 7,036.28 zlotys, depending on the category of the worker.
