They should not believe it: Russia has already begun its summer offensive.

Russia has launched a summer offensive on the front - Pavlo Shamshyn
The representative of the OTG 'Kharkiv' Pavlo Shamshyn spoke about the situation on the front and stated that Russia has already begun its summer offensive.
As reported by 'Hvilya', he made this statement during a telethon.
Despite statements of 'readiness' for peace talks, Russia continues to advance on Ukrainian lands and attack the positions of the Defense Forces. According to Ukrainian soldiers, it is currently not worth believing in illusions.
Shamshyn noted that the Russians are accumulating their forces, and the summer offensive campaign has actually already begun.
The situation is particularly tense in the area of the settlement of Lypytsi in the Kharkiv region - the RF Armed Forces have launched an assault with armored vehicles, including tanks. Motorcycles with infantry are also attacking.
The situation is also difficult in the vicinity of the village of Dvorična near the Oskil River: the occupiers are transferring infantry to the right bank. The RF Armed Forces are tasked with expanding the foothold to Kup'yansk from the north.
The Vovchansk direction remains hot, with assaults occurring daily.
In response to a question about whether the situation at the front has changed in connection with talks about a 30-day ceasefire and negotiations in Istanbul, the military said he would not dive into what is said from that side.
'I would not dive into what is said from that side. When dealing with the Russians, one must understand a few things. Russians always lie in the public space. If they are not lying - they are manipulating. If they are not manipulating - they are preparing to lie. We must perceive all their statements in this way',
According to Shamshyn, talks about participating in negotiations only simulate the Russians' readiness for them. The delegation that Moscow sent to Istanbul is 'nonames', and it is not worth taking this seriously.
Moreover, Shamshyn expressed the opinion that one should not expect a ceasefire anytime soon. He also noted that during the 'Easter ceasefire' or the ceasefire on the so-called 'Victory Day', there was no lull; on the contrary, there was an increase in assaults.
The military pointed out that such a situation exists now as well, so it is not worth nurturing illusions about peace with the Russians.
It should be noted that Kellogg warned the Russian Federation about 'the harshest sanctions in history' in case of refusal to ceasefire.
