Biden at the UN: "We cannot tire of supporting Ukraine".


The US President urged the world to support Ukraine in the fight against Russia
On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, US President Joe Biden addressed the UN General Assembly with a speech calling on the international community to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
"We cannot tire, we cannot look away," Biden said, emphasizing the importance of continuing support for Ukraine.
The US President stressed that the Ukrainian-Russian conflict is one of the central and urgent issues of the United States' foreign policy.
Biden also highlighted America's role in supporting Ukraine, noting that the US "filled the gap" and "ensured Ukraine's survival as a free nation".
Speaking about Russia, the US President noted that Putin's war has "already failed in its main objective".
Biden called on Ukraine's supporters to "stay the course until the country achieves a just and lasting peace".
In his speech, Biden also mentioned other global issues, such as artificial intelligence, the conflict in the Middle East, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
