Zelensky: 'Russia will have to end the war, it is better to do it sooner'.

Meeting of Zelensky with Putin in Turkey
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his readiness to hold direct negotiations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin in Turkey to end the war. He announced this information in his address on the 1174th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Zelensky emphasized that he managed to discuss this idea with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who supported this initiative. The readiness for a meeting with Putin was also expressed by US President Donald Trump.
'We would like him to find an opportunity to be in Turkey', - added Zelensky.
Political consultations of Ukrainian officials
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak informed about a series of talks with representatives of the European Union and other European countries regarding the cessation of war. He noted that Ukraine is ready for further negotiations to establish a fair and sustainable peace in the territory.
'Our position remains constructive: we are ready to do everything possible to achieve a ceasefire and move to negotiations on a fair and sustainable peace', - emphasized Yermak.
The meeting of Zelensky with Putin in Turkey opens the possibility for a peaceful resolution of the conflict that has lasted for several years. The support of allies and the willingness of the parties to achieve peace can slow down or even suspend military actions in eastern Ukraine.
