Impressive achievements in Greco-Roman wrestling

It is also worth noting the enormous success of the Ukrainian Greco-Roman wrestling team at the U20 European Championship. Our athletes secured third place in the overall standings and won seven medals:

• Yegor Yakushenko (97 kg) and Vladislav Pokotilo (67 kg) – silver.
• Pavlo Toryanyk (87 kg), Ivan Yankovsky (130 kg), Maksut Sultanov (60 kg), Anatoliy Pasnak (72 kg), and Kyrylo Shnyryov (82 kg) – bronze medalists.

It should be noted that Ukrainian athletes also show impressive results in diving. At the 2025 European Championship among juniors, the Ukrainian team won first place in the team standings, earning 12 medals: 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze. Ukrainian athletes continue to amaze with their achievements on the international sports stage.
