The Armed Forces of Ukraine have published updated information on the losses of Russian occupiers as of May 24, 2025.
Russia's losses in the war as of May 24, 2025
According to the latest data, the Russian Federation has suffered the following losses in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel – about 979,830 individuals (increase of 1,130);
- tanks – 10,852 units (increase of 11);
- armored combat vehicles – 22,622 units (increase of 47);
- artillery systems – 28,201 units (increase of 36);
- MLRS – 1,395 units (increase of 5);
- air defense systems – 1,169 units (increase of 2);
- aircraft – 372 units;
- helicopters – 336 units;
- tactical-level UAVs – 37,177 units (increase of 232);
- cruise missiles – 3,197 units;
- ships / boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 49,639 units (increase of 232);
- special equipment – 3,895 units.
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of May 24
- In the Black Sea, two enemy ships have been recorded, both of which can launch up to 12 'Kalibr' cruise missiles;
- No enemy ships have been identified in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships are being observed, one of which can use up to eight 'Kalibr' cruise missiles.
Over the past 24 hours, the following vessels have passed through the Kerch Strait in the interests of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea – 10 vessels, of which eight continued to the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov – seven vessels, of which five arrived from the Bosphorus Strait.
It is also worth noting that the full-scale war in Ukraine has now reached its 1,186th day.
Analyzing the information obtained, it can be seen that the conflict in the east of the country continues, and both sides remain active in military operations.
