The runaway MP Dmitruk will be dealt with by Interpol after being declared wanted.


The State Bureau of Investigation has declared the current Member of Parliament Artem Dmitruk, who is suspected of attacks on citizens, internationally wanted.
This was reported by the SBI press service.
Details of the investigation indicate that Dmitruk, along with his accomplices, attacked a law enforcement officer in Odesa while he was performing his duties. He tried to seize the weapon and caused bodily harm to the officer.
In Kyiv, there was also a conflict between Dmitruk and a citizen, during which the MP struck several blows, including to the head. As a result of these actions, the victim sustained moderately severe injuries.
According to the investigation, Artem Dmitruk is suspected of the following crimes:
- causing minor bodily harm to a law enforcement officer by a group of people (according to Articles 28, 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine);
- theft of a weapon by a group of people (according to Articles 15, 28, 262 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine);
- causing moderately severe bodily harm (according to Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine);
- gross violation of public order with particular audacity (according to Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine is conducting procedural guidance in this investigation.
Recall that on August 25, 2024, the Prosecutor General announced a suspicion against Artem Dmitruk in connection with his participation in attacks on citizens, including a law enforcement officer, as well as an attempt to steal a weapon.
