Eighth time. The RF attack caused a blackout at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

The strike by Russian occupiers led to a blackout at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, reported Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko. The terrorist army disrupted the electricity transmission between the NPP and the country's power system, which threatens radiation safety.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the NPP has already experienced eight complete blackouts and several critical situations. This is yet another act of nuclear terror by the Russians!"
India, acting as a mediator, exchanged information about safety at the NPP between Russia and Ukraine. The nuclear plant is now shut down due to electricity supply and cooling issues. The IAEA has agreed that restarting the NPP's reactors is currently impossible due to threats posed by the conflict.
As a result of the attack by Russian occupiers, the Zaporizhzhia NPP found itself in critical condition due to lack of power supply and water for cooling. International organizations and other countries are making efforts to prevent further escalation of the situation and ensure safety in the region.
