Drivers were advised on how to quickly recover a lost car license plate.

The Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs shares tips for Ukrainian drivers who have lost their car license plate.
If a loss occurs, it is necessary to contact the MIA service center. Even if only one license plate is lost, the vehicle registration procedure must be followed to obtain new license plates.
To do this, you need to have your passport, TIN, and vehicle registration certificate with you. In case of theft of license plates, you need to provide a loss certificate issued by the police.
After the re-registration procedure, the MIA issues new license plates and a vehicle registration certificate. The cost of the service is 1240 hryvnias - 350 hryvnias for re-registration, 540 hryvnias for the certificate, and 350 hryvnias for the license plate.
It is especially important to react promptly to the loss of license plates to avoid problems with law enforcement agencies and unpleasant situations when your license plate is used in criminal cases.
