The government is actively developing initiatives for the digitization of services for servicemen and their relatives, said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to Shmyhal's statement, an experimental project has been launched on the 'Diia' portal, which provides access to the following services:
- registration of the status of war invalid;
- receipt of monetary assistance for the wounded;
- appointment of pensions for persons with disabilities;
- provision of rehabilitation means;
- housing and communal services with benefits;
- provision of services to the families of fallen soldiers.
'We eliminate obstacles, speed up processes, and allow people to exercise their rights without problems and bureaucracy,' commented Shmyhal.
Recently, the 'Diia' portal also featured confirmation of veteran status, with the corresponding changes in legislation approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. Now, the digital veteran certificate in 'Diia' can be used without a paper copy.
It is also worth noting that on the 'Diia' portal, one can obtain the status of a combatant and a military registration document from the Register of Conscripts, Military Obligated, and Reservists.
