Currency market: Zloty approaches 5-year high.

According to Reuters, the Polish zloty has reached its strongest level against the euro since the beginning of 2020. This occurred due to the restrictive monetary policy in Poland and a less destructive second term for US President Donald Trump.
Over the past five years, the zloty has reached its highest level against the euro. Currently, it has risen by 0.1% and is trading at 4.2515 per euro.
The Polish currency has increased by 2.6% since the beginning of November, thanks to the central bank's tough stance and forecasts from bank chief Adam Glapinski, who does not foresee a reduction in interest rates until 2026.
Also, investor sentiment towards risky assets has improved due to hopes that Trump will not impose such high tariffs on goods from the European Union as previously expected.
