The Verkhovna Rada extended martial law and general mobilization for 90 days
On Tuesday, October 29, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days, reported the first deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
311 deputies voted for these decisions (martial law) and 304 (mobilization).
Martial law and mobilization have been extended from November 10, 2024, to February 7, 2025, inclusively.
"The Rada supported laws #12152 and #12151 on extending the effect of martial law and general mobilization for 90 days. Both laws were presented by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Litvinenko," Zheleznyak said.
This was already the 13th vote for martial law.
Recall, Ukraine has changed the system of control over those subject to military duty.
