Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 1295 residential buildings in Odesa have been affected by shelling. 5 of them will soon be dismantled as they are beyond recovery.

Dismantling of buildings

According to the technical conclusion and the decision of the regional commission for emergency situations, partial dismantling of five buildings is proposed. Four of them are located near the station, and one more is on Serednaya Street. In addition, two buildings on Novoselskogo Street and a private property on Vinogradnaya Street have been recognized as unsuitable for recovery.

'Their owners will be able to apply for compensation under the state program eRecovery and receive housing certificates for the purchase of new housing,' says Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov.

Another five buildings have been recognized as partially destroyed and will be restored at the city's expense. The executive committee appointed the Department of Order as the customer for emergency works.

Additionally, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the total number of damaged facilities in Odesa is 3232, of which 1295 are residential buildings.
