Ukrainians explained who and for what purpose can rent agricultural land.

Individuals and legal entities can rent land for agriculture
The Land Fund of Ukraine reports that individuals and legal entities have the right to lease land for agriculture. Citizens can use plots of land for gardening, farming, and agricultural production.
The largest group of renters consists of collective agricultural enterprises that use land for agricultural production. Often, such enterprises unite into associations.
Agricultural research institutions and educational establishments also rent plots of land for training and research. Non-agricultural enterprises and civil society organizations rent land for subsidiary farming. Wholesale markets use land for their infrastructure.
After signing the lease agreement, tenants acquire the right to possess the plot of land. Information about the transfer of land for lease is recorded in the State Register of Rights to Real Estate. Together with the plot, any planted crops and buildings located on it are transferred.
Tenants and subtenants have the right to transfer plots of land for use by third parties, provided that the intended purpose of use is preserved.
