Ukraine in the UN Security Council outlined conditions for possible peace with Russia.

Acting Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Kristina Gayovishin stated that Ukraine does not recognize any temporarily occupied territories and will not accept any limitations on its sovereignty. She also emphasized that Ukraine agrees to an immediate ceasefire for 30 days and highlighted that this should be the beginning of sustainable peace. Additionally, the diplomat noted that the ceasefire agreement in the Black Sea applies not only to civilian shipping but also to ports.
Gayovishin shared that Moscow speaks of peace, yet continues to attack densely populated residential areas of Ukraine. She also stressed that achieving peace requires maintaining pressure and sanctions against Russia. Ukraine is ready to do everything possible to ensure peace comes as soon as possible, but in the event of continued aggression, it will make every effort to defend its interests.
