Users from Russia are massively complaining about problems with social networks. Issues have been recorded in the applications Telegram, Whatsapp, Discord, and Steam. Problems with access to Wikipedia and gaming services have also been identified. Thousands of complaints about issues with the Telegram messenger have been recorded. In addition, Russian YouTube users are complaining about the stoppage of video hosting. The Google AdSense contextual advertising service has also ceased its activities on the Russian internet. The purpose of blocking the Signal messenger, as well as hindering the operations of WhatsApp and YouTube, was revealed by British intelligence.
