A powerful explosion rocked Rylsk in the Kursk region (video).


On the night of April 30, the city of Rylsk in the Kursk region fell victim to a drone attack. A video of the powerful explosion has surfaced online, reports 'Glavkom'.
Local residents reported that before the explosion, an alarm was declared in the region due to the threat of strike drones. Russians are posting the moment of the explosion and are not holding back their emotions in the video.
The footage shows the impact and bright flashes, resembling fireworks.
As a result of these strikes, two people were injured - a man and a woman aged 45 and 21 respectively, who were hospitalized.
Their injuries include damage to the head, arms, and legs from shrapnel.
This is not the first Time the city of Rylsk has fallen victim to explosions. In December 2024, there was also a series of explosions with over 15 'hits'.
We remind you that the reports from the Russian military command about the end of combat operations in the Kursk region are false.
Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, Valery Gerasimov, reported to President Vladimir Putin that the operation to 'liberate the Kursk region' has ended. According to him, the last settlement in the region was 'liberated' from the Ukrainian military.
