The Ministry of Internal Affairs named the number of Ukrainians missing.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 50 thousand people in Ukraine are missing. Among them are both civilians and military personnel, as well as children. According to Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Leonid Tymchenko, this number currently stands at 53,868 people.
Since 2023, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been empowered to coordinate the search for missing persons. Thus, a secretariat for the authorized representative on missing persons and its representatives in various regions of the country has been established.
