An Unknown Virus with Symptoms Similar to COVID-19 Discovered in China - Media.

Hospitals in China are filled with people due to the spread of the respiratory disease HMPV, which is similar to the flu. This raises serious concerns about the healthcare situation in the country post-COVID-19.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that respiratory infections typically peak in winter. They are reassuring citizens and tourists, claiming that the Chinese government cares for the health of all people in the country and ensures safety during travels.
A spokesperson for the Ministry urges citizens and tourists to follow the recommendations of the National Administration for Disease Control and Prevention of China. It is noted that HMPV causes flu-like symptoms and can lead to serious respiratory illnesses. Currently, there is no vaccine against this virus.
The incubation period for the disease lasts from 3 to 7 days, and full recovery may take several days, depending on the severity.
