In Kharkiv, two people were injured as a result of an explosion of an unknown device.


On the evening of April 30, an explosion occurred in one of the districts of Kharkiv due to an unknown device, resulting in injuries to two individuals.
The Coordination Center for Mine Action reported that around 20:30 in the Nemyshliansky district of Kharkiv, an explosion of an unidentified explosive device took place.
As a result of the explosion, two civilians sustained medium severity blast injuries.
«The Coordination Center for Mine Action reminds about the high level of mine danger in our region», it was noted in the official statement.
Additionally, on April 20, an explosion occurred in one of the apartments in Kharkiv, causing a fire.
The State Emergency Service confirmed information about the fire. The incident took place in a high-rise building where rooms of two apartments and the foyer were burned.
Also, in Mykolaiv, an explosion of an explosive device occurred, which led to the ignition of vehicles. While extinguishing the fire, a secondary detonation took place.
As a result of the secondary detonation, five SES employees were injured and taken to the hospital.

Recently, the number of explosions and fires in Ukraine has been increasing, leading to injuries and material damages. To prevent these events, increased attention and safety measures from the population and law enforcement agencies are necessary. A thorough examination and investigation of these events is also needed to find and hold responsible individuals to judicial accountability.
