In the Hydrometeorological Center, they answered whether the heat up to +40 will return to Ukraine.

Ukrainian meteorologists stated that the weekends and the beginning of the next week will be hot, but the 40-degree heat, as it was in July, is not expected. Forecasts show that the temperature in most regions will range from 27 to 34 degrees, and in the south of the country - from 35 to 37 degrees. According to meteorologists, 2024 could become the hottest year in the entire history of observations. Natalia Ptuha, a representative of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, noted that although the heat wave will be less exhausting, the daytime hours during the weekends and next week will still be hot. She also mentioned weather changes, stating that there might be brief thunderstorms in the west of the country over the weekend. However, in general, the weather will be dry, but not as consistently clear and windless as it is now.
