Turkey opens a new paradise for travelers.

Turkey is developing the Black Sea coast to attract more tourists
The Turkish authorities are actively building resorts on the Black Sea coast to draw more tourists. One of the priority regions is Mersin, which is a true 'paradise on the coast'. However, for many years Mersin has seen little investment in tourism, although local cities Silifke, Tarsus, and Anamur have already been declared tourist zones. Insufficient investments harm the tourism sector and local residents. However, the situation is gradually changing, with infrastructure and hotels being actively constructed and investors pouring funds into the development of Mersin.
Mersin, in addition to being a resort city, is also a major economic center with the 'Akkuyu' nuclear power plant. The opening of a new airport between Adana and Mersin has made access to Turkey's resorts quick and convenient.
The Turkish side is focusing on gastronomic tourism and the development of other areas such as sports and culture. The local cuisine is very diverse, and restaurants invite guests for master classes and trips to farms and markets to familiarize themselves with the traditions of the local cuisine.
In 2023, Turkey welcomed 62.3 million foreign tourists, and many locals also traveled across the country for tourism purposes. The development of tourism in Mersin and other regions of Turkey will contribute to the further growth of this sector.
