Judge from Russia believes that Europeans have 'hated and envied Russians all their lives'.


Russian referee: Europeans live in their own world
Igor Zakharov, a former Russian football referee, expressed his view that people in Europe live in their own world. He believes that Europeans simultaneously envy and hate them. Zakharov stated that during his career as a referee, this became obvious to him. He officiated many matches in Europe and even then prophesied the end for European football. Zakharov added that he is ready to go fight for Russia, but no one will take him.
Igor Zakharov was a successful Russian referee. He officiated matches in the Russian Premier League and became a FIFA referee. In 2008, he was recognized as the best football referee in Russia. Due to back problems, he was forced to end his referee career in 2009.
Also, well-known Russian figure skaters Ivan Bukin and Alexandra Stepanova have come under media attention. They support singer Shaman (Yaroslav Dronov), who has been sanctioned by Ukraine, Canada, and the EU. Ivan Bukin subscribed to Shaman's Instagram page, while Alexandra Stepanova actively liked and commented on his posts.
