President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky together with his wife Olena visited the 'Book Arsenal'. During the festival visit, the head of state was accompanied by enhanced security. The number of security personnel around the president became a topic of discussion on social media.

'We ensure the safety of high-ranking officials in any situations – in buildings, on the street, in peaceful or frontline zones, under any conditions. This is a task of high responsibility,' – explained the State Security Administration.

The Administration noted that with the increase in the scale of the event, the risk to state officials who need protection grows. Access restrictions and checks for items that may be dangerous are conducted, along with the confiscation of prohibited items. During the 'Book Arsenal' festival, one unit of firearms, 127 cutting and piercing items, 74 gas canisters, and 12 ammunition items were seized. These items pose a threat not only to high officials but also to other event participants.

'We thank those who understand the necessity of restrictions. This is for the general protection and national security,' – emphasized the State Security Administration.
