The Russian army attacked Odesa: one person died, eight injured
Russia launched two ballistic missiles at Odesa's port infrastructure, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to eight. Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, reported this, as conveyed by 'Glavkom'.
As a result of the attack, a port worker was killed, and eight others were injured, four of whom are in serious condition. Oleg Kiper urged local residents to respond to air raid signals and quickly seek shelter if necessary.
Following the attack, the engine room was damaged, windows and doors in administrative buildings were shattered, and vehicles and equipment were destroyed. Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized that this was civilian infrastructure, where peaceful people worked.
Currently, information about the victims is being clarified. Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, stated that the attacks began at 23:30, and as of 00:28, there had been over 12 explosions. Russian 'Shaheds' are shelling the city from the sea.
Some houses, shops, a school, and cars have been damaged, and in some places, fires broke out as a result of the attack. This is not the first case of aggression by Russian troops in the Odesa region, which has led to human casualties and the destruction of peaceful life.
