Occupiers Prepare for Elections in Crimea – National Resistance Center.

The occupiers of Crimea plan to hold fake "elections" on September 8 to legitimize their occupation of Ukrainian territories, reports the National Resistance Center.
To create the illusion of legality, the Russians are forming lists of "observers" dominated by representatives of the Kremlin Council of Public Figures from the temporarily occupied areas of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Their role is to help the Kremlin legitimize this fake electoral process.
Additionally, the occupational administration is trying to increase turnout in these elections by holding talks with displaced persons on the peninsula, convincing them to vote using their residence permits. Furthermore, voting is planned to be made mandatory for military personnel stationed in the temporarily occupied territories.
Previously, Russian invaders destroyed the ruins of the ancient city of Chersonesus, of world significance. In their place, they built the “New Chersonesus Park,” which includes a huge palace of 24,000 m².
Additionally, the occupiers looted the Chersonesus Tauric National Preserve Museum and transported the artifacts to Russia, specifically to Veliky Novgorod. Lubinets has appealed to the UN regarding Russia's destruction of Chersonesus Tauric.
