Shelling in the south has intensified. The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported how Russia 'used the ceasefire'.

Ukraine reported an increase in the fire activity of Russian troops in the south following the 'Easter ceasefire'. Over the past day, more than 420 artillery shellings, around 600 FPV drone strikes, and kamikaze drone attacks have been recorded. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.
Occupiers are also actively carrying out assault actions, the number of which has reached almost 25. The Russian military has increased shelling following logistical support and the supply of ammunition. Ukrainian forces are responding to the attacks and conducting counter-battery measures. The occupiers have also begun to use aviation and are deliberately attacking the city of Zaporizhzhia.
It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the 'Easter ceasefire', easing the fire. However, he called on the troops to be ready to respond to any provocations from Ukraine.
The USA welcomes the continuation of the ceasefire, although the Kremlin claims its absence. However, the Russian side accused Ukraine of violating the ceasefire and using American weapons.
The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced the end of the 'Easter ceasefire'. The Czech Foreign Minister compared this situation to a performance.
