NBU has recorded the strengthening of the hryvnia: what is happening with the dollar exchange rate.

On the interbank foreign exchange market, the hryvnia began to strengthen against the main world currencies.
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the US dollar at 41.1941 UAH per dollar, which is 15 kopecks less than the previous figure of 41.3426 UAH per dollar.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia to the euro has also strengthened and stands at 45.5524 UAH per euro.
As of October 3, 2023, the National Bank of Ukraine has switched to a managed floating exchange rate regime, abandoning the fixed rate that had been in place since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Under the new regime, the rate is determined on the interbank market, while the National Bank continues to monitor the situation in the market.
Analysis:
An influential factor in the strengthening of the hryvnia has been the National Bank of Ukraine's transition to a managed floating exchange rate regime. The state regulator also monitors the situation in the market, which helps to offset the foreign currency deficit. It is predicted that the strengthening of the hryvnia may continue in the future.
