Accumulation Pensions or New Tax: Expert Criticized Government Plans.

The Government of Ukraine plans to implement an accumulative pension system by the end of 2024. However, experts express doubts about the realism of these plans. Accountant Elena Kistrytsa criticizes the statements made by the Minister of Social Policy.
Our government, suddenly, at some meeting, the Minister of Social Policy suddenly says that the Cabinet already has a prepared set of bills, and by the end of the year they will carry out the pension reform. And we will have, in addition to the solidarity pension, also an accumulative one.
Kistrytsa doubts the implementation of this reform in such a short Time, calling it "nonsense about how to take more money from suckers." She questions how money can be allocated for people who pay into the pension fund and pensioners who are already retired when introducing an accumulative system.
The expert also points out that the accumulative system requires investments. People need to invest in businesses that generate income, and these funds will return as insurance for their retirement.
Kistrytsa expresses suspicion that instead of a reform, Ukrainians might face an increase in taxes and new payments. She urges citizens not to rely on the state pension system and to engage in their own savings.
