The 'Phantoms' special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is actively working to eliminate the Russian air defense system in occupied Crimea. This information was officially published on the Telegram channel of the HUR of Ukraine on June 26, 2025.

During the operation, Ukrainian drones targeted critical elements of the Russian S-400 'Triumph' anti-aircraft missile system. The results were impressive - five strategic air defense objects of the enemy were destroyed. In addition, two 92N2E radar control stations, two 91N6E radar detection systems, and a launch unit of the S-400 complex were also hit. The video materials posted by the HUR show the precise hits of the drones on important Russian objects.

According to military personnel, the operation carried out is of significant importance.

'Radars are the 'eyes' of the enemy air defense system. Without them, anti-aircraft systems become ineffective,'
the HUR emphasized.

Gradual weakening of defense capabilities

This step is the next move in weakening Russia's defensive capabilities in Crimea. The 'Phantoms' team continues to effectively operate, depriving the Russian air defense in the temporarily occupied peninsula of important defense components. The successful attacks by Ukrainian drones allow the enemy forces to be deprived of the ability to respond effectively to air threats.

The 'Phantoms' unit of the HUR continues to carry out successful operations to eliminate the Russian air defense system in occupied Crimea. Their actions are aimed at depriving the invaders of important defense capabilities, including radar stations and anti-aircraft missile systems, which allows for reducing the enemy's ability to respond to air threats.
