Galushchenko revealed plans regarding electricity prices for the population.

The Ukrainian government has announced that there are no plans to increase electricity prices during the current heating season. Minister German Galushchenko noted that the current tariff ensures the financial balance of the electricity market, so no price increases are expected. Changes in tariffs are possible only in the event of serious damage to the energy infrastructure. The company 'Ukrenergo' is carrying out all necessary work at its own expense. The electricity tariff for the population will remain at 4.32 UAH/kWh and will be valid until April 2025. A preferential tariff is provided for users of electric heating installations, depending on the volume of electricity consumption. A night tariff is available for consumers with a dual-zone meter. Gas tariffs and their distribution will also remain unchanged.
