Paratrooper who returned from captivity will meet his daughter for the first time: a touching story.

Ukrainian serviceman Pavlo Zuban, who was in captivity since April 9, 2023, managed to return home on February 5. He will meet his younger daughter Yaryna a few days before her second birthday. This was reported by the Poltava media outlet 'Zmist'.
Pavlo's wife, Anastasia, shared that during all this Time they could only see each other through the phone, as Pavlo went to the front line when Yaryna was only one week old.
During his time in captivity, Anastasia actively participated in events supporting prisoners of war in her city. Together with her, their elder daughter Varvara attended the events, and later little Yaryna joined them.
Pavlo Zuban returned home thanks to a prisoner exchange that took place on February 5, just 16 days before his birthday. He even informed his wife about it over the phone faster than she received official confirmation from the Coordination Headquarters.
This prisoner exchange saved 150 servicemen. Among them were soldiers of the Naval Forces who were captured in Mariupol and the Zaporizhzhia region, Air Force personnel, soldiers of the Assault Landing and Ground Forces, National Guardsmen, border guards, territorial defense fighters, and a police officer.
It was previously reported that during this prisoner exchange, Volodymyr Tkachenko from the Vinnytsia region, who had been missing, also returned.
