Why Only a Third of Ukrainians Find Work in Switzerland: Swissinfo Analysis.

Many Ukrainians living in Switzerland have a desire to find work, but this task is very difficult. According to Swissinfo, the Swiss government is calling on local authorities to support able-bodied Ukrainians with an S status and register them at regional employment centers.
According to a government official, the language barrier is one of the main obstacles for Ukrainians. Learning Czech is more accessible, as it is also a Slavic language, whereas Ukrainian is more complex. However, the Swiss government aims to make progress in the labor integration of Ukrainians and provide work for more individuals.
The employment rate of Ukrainians in Switzerland is only 29%, which is below the set target of 40%. The federal government intends to achieve this goal by the end of the year, but acknowledges that it may be difficult. However, it is significantly more important to support refugees in job search rather than just registering them. The Federal Council plans to take measures to increase the employment rate among Ukrainian refugees through legislative changes.
