Blinken revealed what will be included in the $500 million defense package for Ukraine.

The U.S. allocates a new military aid package to Ukraine in the amount of $500 million. This was announced by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
«This additional assistance, provided as part of previous withdrawals from the Department of Defense stocks, is estimated at $500 million», – stated U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The new aid package will include ammunition for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, anti-tank weapons, and counter-drone systems.
The package contains:
- ammunition to counter unmanned aerial systems (c-UAS);
- ammunition for HIMARS rocket artillery systems;
- artillery shells of 155 mm and 105 mm calibers;
- high-speed anti-radiation missiles (HARMs);
- unmanned aerial systems (UAS);
- mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAP).
As part of this package, Ukraine will also receive multi-purpose HMMWV vehicles, light tactical vehicles, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear protective equipment (CBRN), Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, TOW missiles, ammunition for small arms; grenades and training gear, as well as spare parts and support equipment.
U.S. President Joe Biden has made the decision to allocate a new security and defense aid package for Ukraine, which will include additional air defense means, capabilities for artillery, and other types of weapons.
Additionally, the U.S. is allocating at least four economic aid packages for Ukraine to support agriculture, transportation, joint government and World Bank projects, and professional training of citizens. The total amount of aid is $437.7 million.
