Due to the martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine, men are restricted from leaving the country, although certain categories of citizens can still do so. The State Border Guard Service has reported that the list of individuals allowed to exit remains unchanged.
"Men who are reserved for the period of mobilization, as well as those deemed unfit for military service by the military medical commission due to health reasons, have the right to leave Ukraine"
Additionally, exit is allowed for parents of three or more minor children, single parents, as well as men who have children under 18 years old and a spouse serving in the military. Certain categories of individuals, as defined by legislation, can also cross the border. The State Border Guard Service emphasizes that men can only leave the country with a military ticket. Those conscripted must carry a military registration document along with their passport when crossing the border of Ukraine. The Ukrainian State Border Guard Service reminds about the restrictions on leaving the country during martial law but also clarifies that there are certain categories of citizens who can leave the country under certain conditions. The presence of a military ticket and military registration document is a mandatory requirement for such exit.
