Russian army suffers significant losses during each assault on AFU positions on the left bank of the Dnipro.

Ukrainian military on the left bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region continue to hold their positions and expand their bridgehead.
This was reported by the head of the press center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk.
"At present, we do not observe strong opponents against us who could critically change the situation on our front. The rotation of military personnel and replenishment of units continues, as the enemy suffers heavy losses and needs a replacement. We also receive support from other directions, but it is not critical," she noted.
Humeniuk also emphasized that the enemy has sufficient strength and means to hold their positions. She noted that Russian troops had prepared defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnipro in advance.
"They used concrete structures and other fortifications to strengthen their positions. However, they did not expect that we would have a bridgehead, on which they are supplied and from which we are displacing them. They are attempting to restore their positions, but so far unsuccessfully," she explained.
Humeniuk also noted that the Russian army has suffered significant losses over the two years of war with Ukraine.
"Most of these losses occurred on the Eastern front, where we have more clashes with the enemy. In our zone of action, the distance between the banks of the Dnipro is important, which complicates the calculation of losses. As soon as we can cross to the left bank, we will be able to more accurately assess the enemy's losses," she noted.
Thus, the Ukrainian army continues to strengthen its positions on the left bank of the Dnipro and proves that it is ready to defend its territory.
