Japan 'blocked' hundreds of Russians on a liner near its shores.

The cruise liner Spectrum of The Seas stopped in a Japanese port due to a breakdown, and about 600 Russian citizens were stranded on board. According to Russian media, the ship was supposed to arrive in Shanghai on November 9, but due to the breakdown, the arrival date was postponed by two days to November 11. This led many passengers to cancel their tickets from China to Russia.

One of the liner's passengers named Alexander reported that Russian citizens are not allowed to disembark because they do not have visas, and the Japanese side shows no willingness to make concessions on this issue. As a result, Russians have to stay on the ship, even though they are also prohibited from getting to the airport to purchase tickets to China.

Passengers turned to the Russian consulate for assistance. One of the passengers, named Polina, stated that most Russians cannot enjoy the unexpected holiday because they are losing a significant amount of money spent on tickets, and some of them need to return to work soon.

Ukraine to receive loan from Japan

It is also important to note that Ukraine will receive a loan of 471.9 billion yen ($3 billion) from Japan. This loan will be repaid from the income of Russia's frozen assets, as part of agreements with the G7 countries.
