Umerov talked about key tasks as head of the National Security and Defense Council.


The newly appointed Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Rustem Umerov held his first working meeting with the NSDC staff. He outlined the prospects and key tasks.
On Friday, July 18, Rustem Umerov held his first working meeting with the staff of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. During the meeting, he outlined the prospects and tasks defined by the Commander-in-Chief. The focus is on effective coordination of the security and defense sector, auditing the implementation of the decisions of the Headquarters. There is also a substantial interaction with international partners regarding the intensification of supplies and joint production of weapons.
'The National Security and Defense Council is not only an institution of strategic planning but also an instrument of action. We have ambitious goals and defined tasks. We are working towards results,' Umerov stated.
It should be noted that on Friday, July 18, Zelensky appointed Rustem Umerov as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC). Later, the head of state tasked the new head of the NSDC, Umerov, with a number of tasks.
Umerov emphasized the necessity of effective coordination of the security and defense sector, as well as the importance of cooperation with international partners to strengthen the country's defense capabilities. It is known that Ukraine plans to intensify supplies and joint production of weapons, and this cooperation should become one of the priorities in the position of Secretary of the NSDC.
