'Sashko defeated his opponent honorably. It was a tough struggle, but the victory is all the sweeter for that', said the functionary.

Regarding the possibility of performing on the football field as part of Polissia, Zahurskyi noted that the club has long considered such an opportunity and would gladly welcome Usyk into its ranks if he decides to end his boxing career.

In the past, Usyk already played for Polissia in friendly matches that took place in Turkey at the beginning of 2022.

It is noteworthy that Usyk is considering a debut in MMA and a possible fight with Jake Paul.
