Over 30,000 Hasidim Arrive in Uman.

As of the morning of October 2, over 30,000 pilgrims arrived in Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah. More than 14,000 Hasidim were unable to reach Uman due to Israel being shelled by Iran and the closure of airspace. Since September 23, increased security measures have been implemented in Uman due to the pilgrimage of the Hasidim. Every year, Uman becomes a pilgrimage site for Hasidim who come to the grave of Tzadik Nachman, the founder of Hasidism.
Rosh Hashanah is one of the most important holidays in the Jewish calendar. It is the first day of the Jewish New Year. The celebration includes prayers, meals, and traditions such as the sound of the shofar and the consumption of apples with honey. The culminating moment for Hasidim in Uman is the prayer at the grave of Tzadik Nachman, where their prayers are believed to have special power. The celebration lasts several days and is accompanied by religious rituals and festivities.
Local authorities and law enforcement agencies ensure the safety and coordination of actions during the celebration of Uman Hasidim.
